A large, unmanoeuvrable, gun-heavy behemoth with one aim, to wreak devastation upon the unlucky target in its sights. A wing of five of these vessels flying together has been known to fatally cripple a Velnibeth Gangorthli class battle cruiser in one combined volley.

 

As a result of the danger these vessels pose to enemy capital ships, they inevitably attract attention from enemy fighters like crows to a dead man's eyeballs, and without proper escort, the Ankou is likely to fall should an enemy fighter get behind it.
